Gabriela Lungu joins Weber Shandwick as executive VP and EMEA consumer practice leader

Gabriela Lungu, formerly managing partner and creative director of The Practice, will relocate to London after leaving the agency she founded in 2006.

Lungu will join Weber Shandwick as executive vice president and EMEA consumer practice leader.

She will report to Colin Byrne, CEO of Weber Shandwick EMEA, and Lisa Sepulveda, global consumer practice leader.

Before founding The Practice, Lungu served as managing director of Ogilvy Public Relations Romania.

The top management of The Practice will be made up of Oana Bulexa and Monica Jitariuc as co- managing directors. Stefan Iordache, co-founding partner of The Practice & COO of Leo Burnett Group Romania, will acquire Lungu’s shares in the company and support the new management team.
