Infrastructure remains one of the main deterrents to foreign direct investments in Romania, but there is also bureaucracy, corruption and poor absorption of European Funds.
To talk about these problems and the steps the Government is taking to counter them, Alexandru Năstase, state secretary of the department for infrastructure projects, foreign investment, PPP and export promotion (DPIIS), will speak on the first day of the Foreign Investors Summit, during the Opening conference.
DPIIS is the Government’s leading body in developing major investment projects and Romania’s “one-stop-shop” for foreign investors under the direct coordination of the Prime Minister, responsible with FDI promotion and attraction in Romania.
