Foodpanda Romania, the biggest online food-order platform in Romania, announced on Friday that, starting with August, Radu Balaceanu was appointed Country Manager.

Radu Balaceanu, 28, replaces Dan Macarie who will continue working in the e-commerce industry after relocating to Berlin. Balaceanu has three years of experience in key positions abroad. His last place of employment was a broker company in Sankt Patersburg where he worked as a Sales Director.

“After the years spent abroad, for finalizing my studies and accumulating experience, I am happy to come back to Romania for a worthy challenge. I thank Dan for his dedication and excellent results obtained as foodpanda Country Manager. My objective is growing and maintaining the platform as a leader of the local food ordering market and expanding it to the national level, with the best and most popular restaurants in Romania”, according to Radu Balaceanu.

Balaeanu is a graduate of the International Relations sections at ASE, and holds a post-graduate diploma from the Financial University in Sankt Petersburg.
