Farmexim turnover gains 17 percent to EUR 286 mln in 2012

The turnover of pharmaceuticals distributor Farmexim rose by 17 percent to EUR 286 million in 2012, while the group registered a gross turnover of EUR 380 million.

Ovidiu Buluc, general director of Farmexim, said the results are in line with early 2012 estimates. This year, the distributor aims to increase the turnover by 10 percent to EUR 314.6 and reach a net profit of EUR 4.4 million.

“Although we don’t have the best economical and legal conditions, we want to consolidate our positions as one of the three largest distributors in Romania, by increasing the loyalty of our customers and the portfolio of products,” said Buluc.

Farmexim plans to complete this year the construction of a logistics center in Balotesti, near Bucharest. The company will move its offices here next year.

The Farmexim Group comprises pharma distributor Farmexim, the pharmacy chain Help Net, the distributor of cosmetics and food supplements Green Net, and the perfumery chain Beautik Haute Perfumerie.
