National Geographic Channel will promote Bucharest and Romania’s tourism brand in 10 countries, including Germany, France, Italy, UK, Russia, Spain, Poland, Abu Dhabi and India, with a documentary (45 minutes film) and several short films (four-30 seconds clips), writes Modernism.ro. The documentary should promote Bucharest as a city break destination and the city’s main tourist attractions.
The cost of the project is estimated at almost EUR 1 million (EUR 972.500) of which Romania’s tourism authority (ANT) contributes with EUR 750.000 and National Geographic Channel with the rest of the money, for February to May 2015 period.
Besides the movies, National Geographic Channel will contribute with four print ads in the countries nominated above. The ads will be published on the last page and will consist of promotional Bucharest and key tourism products of Romania.
