eRepublik takes over Alien Flow team to focus on mobile gaming

eRepublik Labs, the creator of the strategy game eRepublik.com, announced it acquired the Alien Flow team based in Spain, which is specialized in mobile gaming.

This is a strategic move for eRepublik to develop on the online gaming market and expand its focus to games on mobile platforms.

“We anticipate that our team will be one of the first in Europe to capitalize on the current trend of avid players to move on mobile platforms,” said Alexis Bonte, CEO and co-founder of eRepublik Labs.

The Alien Flow team is specialized in developing mobile games and applications, especially for platforms such as iOS and Android.

Founded in 2007, eRepublik Labs was ranked by TechCrunch among the top 25 of European startups.

Following the takeover, Chris Head, CEO of Alien Flow, will become chief operating officer of eRepublik Labs, which currently has 50 employees. Head has 15 years of experience in the telecommunications and gaming industry.
