Romanian Energomontaj, specialized in putting online power plants and fitting equipments, has taken out a RON 145 million (33.2 million) syndicated loans with a two year maturity to finance its activity and guarantee developed projects.
Energomontaj is active on international markets in Europe, Africa and Asia.
French BRD – Groupe Societe General was the lead arranger for the loan with a RON 33.4 million contribution (EUR 7.6 million). Banca Romaneasca, Bancpost and Volksbank Romania each contributed RON 44 million (EUR 10 million), RON 40.5 million (EUR 9.2 million) and RON 27.1 million (EUR 6.2 million), respectively.
Law firm Clifford Chance Badea advised the bank syndicate on the loan.
