Electroputere VFU sells 20 train cars for EUR 2 mln

Electroputere VFU Pascani, part of Grampet group, owned by Gruia Stoica, is selling 20 passenger train cars to Belgium company Daxi for EUR 2 million.

For more than 20 years, Daxi SA has offered various services and production of railway material but also the realization of tack welded parts and machined parts.

Daxi SA also specialized in the trade of new or reconditioned railway material; rails, cross-pieces, shuntings, stops, level crossings, rail tankers, industrial coaches specific, metal ballastiers, railway bridges, etc.

Electroputere VFU (former Remarul Pascani) is owned by Gruia Stoica through Grup Feroviar Roman with a stake of 90.8 percent of share capital. Remarul Pascani changed its name at the end of 2012 after Gruia Stoica bought the locomotive production division Electroputere Craiova (EPT).

Electropotere VFU’s turnover dropped from RON 75.49 million to RON 15.35 million in the first semester and the company posted losses of RON 7.6 million.
