The 2012 edition of the Bucharest Early Music Festival will take place between October 24-28 at the Mihai Jora studio of the Romanian Radio Corporation, the Cotroceni Museum and the Anglican church.
The event, which is organized under the patronage of Phillippe Beke, the Belgium ambassador to Bucharest, aims to expand its audience from a high-brow, baroque music public to a wider one. At its seventh edition this year, the festival will offer an emersion into the European baroque music, through concerts by Hopkinson Smith, Menno van Delft, the Il Gardellino ensemble, and Ketil Haugsand.
