Doru Postelnicu rejoins Dentons’ Bucharest banking and finance division

Dentons announced the hire of Doru Postelnicu starting October 1, who will be joining the team as one of the senior members of the Bucharest banking and finance group, after nearly three years of working as Head of Banking Legal Department at Banca Comerciala Romana.

In his new role, he will also spearhead the further development of the office’s banking litigation practice.

Doru Postelnicu has over 10 years of experience primarily on banking and finance law, corporate, litigation and M&A. His experience in finance is broad, spanning syndicated loans, real estate and project finance, acquisition finance, trade finance, retail lending, general corporate lending, senior and subordinated debt

Postelnicu graduated the University of Bucharest Law School and holds an LL.M. Oeconomicus Internationalibus Wirtschaftsrecht (Business Law) from the Law School of the Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg, Germany, with special focus in corporate law, as well as a Certificate in Business Administration from Warwick Business School UK.
