Director Cristi Puiu receives funds through the Croatian Audiovisual Centre

The Croatian Audiovisual Centre (HAVC) has announced the results of its competition for funding of minority co-productions. The total of EUR 321,578 has been split among three fiction features, one documentary and one animated film. Romanian director Cristi Puiu obtained EUR 91,500 for Sierra Nevada fictional feature movie, which production will be made by Mandragora (Romania) and Spiritus Movens (Croatia), writes cineuropa.org.

The other financed movies are Stage  Fright, directed by Yorgos Zois, Our Everyday Life, director Ines Tanović, Criss the Swiss animation made by Anja Komfel and 4 Passports documentary, signed by Mihajlo Jevtić.
