DevTalks kicks off at Romexpo

Over 500 IT experts, international speakers from eight countries and 16 multinational companies that invest in developing the Romanian IT Community are present at Romexpo on Thursday.

Thus, at Romexpo C1 takes place on Thursday DevTalks, an event that reunites over 500 IT professionals, BI/Big Data specialists, IoT, Mobile & Web developers, people with passion for the IT field. The development of the IT Community and the promotion of the IT experts abroad represent the main objectives of the event DevTalks.

The 2015 DevTalks Edition is structured in four zones where there will be discussion panels about subjects like Mobile&IoT, Web, Cloud Computing and Big Data. At the event will be presented the new IT solutions and technological trends, practical situations and concrete cases.

Sessions, Conferences and Debates on themes like Mobile, IoT, Web, Cloud Computing and Big Data:

–         Bastian Hofmann, Senior Software Engineer at ResearchGate submits a presentation about how you can drive web architecture to the next level by using React.JS. For more details, click here:

–        Emanuel Nastasa, Business and Software development enthusiast at Luxoft Romania talks about how we can prepare our applications for Internet of Things. More information here:

–        Karl-Henrik Nilsson, IT Consultant – Software Architect / Developer at Sogeti Sverige AB provides the participants more information about how vulnerable Internet of Things ‘applications are when they are based on sensors. Read more here:

–          Tamas Piros, Technical Trainer at MarkLogic has a presentation with the theme: “Single Page Applications with a NoSQL backend and JavaScript”. The session has two parts that will show how you can program an AngularJS part in backend, node.js/Express and in frontend.

Technologies and ultimate gadgets can be tested in the Fun Zone. It will be powered by eMAG and offers to the participants the chance to test some of the newest technologies available at this moment in Romania. Between devices and gadgets that incorporate the latest technologies, there can be tested the 3D Printer, a technology that doesn’t transform only the fabrication process, but also fields like medicine, education, archeology. The 3D Printer is a revolutionary phenomenon, with major changing perspectives of the world we know today. The ENEVO representatives will be present at DevTalks in the Fun Zone for providing live demonstration about how objects can be created layer by layer by starting from a 3D model stocked on the computer memory.

The interaction between the participants – a professional developing way. The DevTalks event encourages interaction between participants, and at this edition, the face-to-face conversations will be facilitated by the application MyCONNECTOR. MyCONNECTOR is an application that allows one-to-one discussions between all DevTalks participants. Thus, they can get in touch one with each other and can establish meetings with professionals from the field they present interest in, with companies representatives or with the speakers from the event. At this edition will participate over 30 national and international speakers. Some of the countries of origin of the international speakers are: USA, England, Sweden, Spain, Switzerland, Austria, Russia and Ukraine.

16 multinational companies invest in developing the Romanian IT Community. At the event, there will be an Exhibitors Area where will be presented technological innovations, applications and hardware and software projects that they are working at or they want to develop.
