Daniel Nicolescu becomes interim country manager of PayU Romania

Starting February 1, Daniel Nicolescu has taken over the position of interim country manager of the PayU group in Romania, instead of Cristian Herghelegiu who announced his retreat from the company.

Until a new country manager is appointed, Nicolescu will ensure continuity in the implementation of the PayU strategy in Romania.

Nicolescu is one of the founders of ePayment (which later became PayU with operations in Poland, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Ukraine, Russia and Turkey) since the company was launched in 2004. Nicolescu also led the company between 2010 and 2011.
