Daniel Barabant is Generali’s new damages director

Daniel Barabant took over the position of director of damages for Generali on August 26, position left open after Madalin Rosu went over to Omniasig with the same title. Rosu led Generali’s damages department for 6 years, writes ZF.

Generali preferred to promote a person from inside the company, instead of hiring a manager from outside.

Barabant has been working for the Italian insurer since 2011 and has previously coordinated the damages center in Cluj-Napoca.

The new director has over 14 years of experience in insurance.

The department of Damages operates unde th damages and support division, coordinated by Veselin Danilovac. Danilovac was promoted to member of the directors board at the start of the year.
