Carmaker Dacia has entered a partnership with the Arges School Inspectorate and the Mioveni city hall to support auto mechanic training at the Mioveni Car Manufacturing Technological High-School.
The partnership sets the basis for the technical training of high-school pupils.
Dacia will create two classes counting 14 9th grade pupils and 28 10th grade students who will undergo theoretical and practical auto mechanic training and undergo internships at the Dacia plants.
Dacia will offer interns monthly scholarships of RON 200, function of performance criteria, free transportation, free lunch as well as protection equipment.
These high-school graduates will have priority in receiving jobs from Dacia, depending on the company’s needs.
“In the past, in Romania there were technical schools that trained generations of specialists in various professions. These schools have now disappeared and, with them, specializations that the entire economy needs. (…) A tighter bond is needed between the theoretical and practical side when it comes to professional education and we are glad to sign this partnership at Mioveni, in the proximity of Dacia plants,” said Nicolas Maure, president and general manager Dacia and GM of Renault Romania.
Dacia will also sponsor the Mioveni Car Manufacturing Technological High-School with technical equipment that can be used to train the pupils.
The teaching staff of the high-school will be trained by Dacia and Renault Romania specialists.
