Crosspoint appoints new partner

This November Ovidiu Chiorean joined Crosspoint’s investment banking division as partner. He previously worked for Deloitte between 2006 and 2012 as manager in corporate finance advisory.

Chiorean has more than 15 years of professional experience in financial consultancy, having also worked for ABN Amro Bank, Raiffeisen Bank and Credit Suisse. He has become the third partner of Crosspoint consultancy house, joining Codrin Matei and Mihai Dumitrescu.

Chiorean has studied economic and social sciences at Fribourg University (Switzerland). Afterwards he started working as a credit analyst for Credit Suisse in Fribourg. While in Switzerland, he also taught accounting in French and German in a Fribourg high-school.

In 2001 Chiorean returned to Romania and joined Raiffeisen Bank as senior relationship manager. He later worked for ABN AMRO Bank as area manager. He started finance advisory in 2004 in Targu-Mures.
