Carmen Bahrim ends CEO mandate for BNP Paribas Cardif Romania

Carmen Bahrim, general manager of BNP Paribas Cardif Romania, has ended her mandate at the beginning of the year, company representatives announce. Taking over for her will be Mario Kostov, the current general manager of BNP Paribas Cardif Bulgaria.

Carmen Bahrim has an experience of over 18 years in multinational companies and has helped found the insurance company BNP Paribas in Romania in 2006.

Mario Kostov has been a member of the Cardif Croatia Supervisory Board since 2006 and has over 20 years of experience in finance. He also held the general manager post at Bulstrad Life.

BNP Paribas Cardif is the insurance company of BNP Paribas Group, present in Romania through its two subsidiaries: Cardif Assurance Vie S.A. Paris, Bucharest Branch (life insurance products) and Cardif Assurances Risques Divers S.A. Paris, Bucharest Branch (various insurance products), since January 2007.

BNP Paribas Cardif Romania also provides bancassurance services in the local market. Focusing on a B2B2C business model, the company develops and sells protection products and related services through banks, consumer credit companies, leasing companies, telecommunications, retail and service providers.
