Bucharest’s parks with free wi-fi

Newsroom 15/07/2014 | 16:40

In Romania, 5.9 million people are using the internet every day in a context of an upward trend, according to the most recent Survey of Internet Audience and TRaffic (SATI), carried out by the Romanian Cross-Media Auditing Bureau (BRAT), in May 2014.

Probably this was the reason why District 1 City Hall decided to give free wi-fi in four parks: Kiseleff, between B.S. Delavrancea Street and Sos. Kiseleff, Bazilescu, between the Summer Theater, Subcetate Street and Bucurestii Noi Blvd., Venus, near the Romanian Opera House and Regina Maria.

The access to internet is free, without password and the speed is 10mb/sec, and the equipment can host 1000 connections simultaneously. The websites which have unsuitable content for children are restricted.
