The 25 public night transport lines available in Bucharest will run for New Year’s Eve every 40 minutes, according to the Bucharest Public Transport Authority RATB. The tram 41 will run every 15 minutes and tram 1 will run every 20 minutes. The schedule of all Bucharest public night transport lines is available on RATB’s site.
The Bucharest metro will run every 20 minutes on New Year’s Eve night between 1.30 and 5.00 and every 10 minutes between 23.30 and 1.30.
Public overground transport in Bucharest will follow the schedule of a regular weekday on December 30th and 31st, according to RATB. From January 1st to January 5th buses, trolleybuses and trams will run on a weekend schedule.
Between January 1st and January 5th the Bucharest metro will run every 8 minutes on the following lines: Magistrala 1 (Republica- Dristor 2), Magistrala 2 (Berceni- Pipera), Magistrala 3 (Anghel Saligny- Preciziei) and Magistrala 4 (Gara de Nord 2- Parc Bazilescu). Depending on the number of travelers, further metro trains might be added to shorten the train running interval, Metrorex, the company administering the Bucharest metro, announced.
