The Light into Europe charity invites its guests to the fifteenth Bucharest Caledonian Ball and the Highland Dinner that will be held on Saturday, November 24 at Intercontinental Hotel in Bucharest.

The organizers prepared for the guests live Scottish music from the very professional and equally famous “Òr Ceilidh Band,” especially flown in for the evening from Edinburgh. Moreover, fresh traditional Haggis imported exclusively from Bannockburn, Scotland will be served. Haggis is a savory pudding containing sheep’s pluck (heart, liver and lungs); minced with onion, oatmeal, suet, spices, and salt, mixed with stock, and traditionally encased in the animal’s stomach and simmered for approximately three hours.

Light into Europe’s objective is to help sensory impaired children and young people to improve their lives, to expand their possibilities and to become active members of the Romanian society.
