BRD Sogelease names new commercial director

Cosmin Baiu has been appointed the new commercial director of BRD Sogelease, the financial leasing arm of BRD – Groupe Societe Generale, starting October 1.

Baiu has been working for more than 12 years in the financial & banking industries, spending the last seven years within the BRD group.

“The main objectives I am pursuing are the increase of the market share and the development of the activities in connection to the group strategy. We will continue to supply personalized financing solutions and quality services to support clients in continuing their activity as efficient as possible,” commented Baiu upon his appointment.

BRD Sogelease has a balanced portfolio, out of which 40.6 percent are equipments financing and 58.4 percent represent operations in the transport industry. Real estate holds 1 percent of its total business. The company reported a profit of RON 9.7 million (EUR 2.1 million) last year.
