On a blog post, Bogdana Butnar, currently industry manager at Google Romania, announces she will leave the company and relocate to London.
“Starting February, I will relocate to the city I love as if I was born there. I am moving to London. I will still work in digital marketing,” says Butnar. ”The digital marketing course at Dalles GO will be held by another teacher. I still intend to set up some webinars on the subject,” she added.
Butnar is one of the first Google employees in Romania, having acted as business development head of multiple industries at Google Romania, according to her LinkedIn profile.
She has strong background in advertising and the digital fields. Between September 2010 and May 2011, she worked at Headvertising in charge with the digitalization of the agency business.
She was managing director at MRM Worldwide during September 2008 and September 2010 and head of strategic planning at McCann Erickson Romania between January 2006 and September 2008.
Her career also includes a position as head of strategic planning at Headvertising between January 2004 and January 2006 and head of corporate communication at Rompetrol between December 2002 and December 2005.
