Romania’s Biomedica Medical Center, a private healthcare provider based in Dambovita County, said it registered a net profit of RON 140,262 (EUR 31,477) and a turnover of EUR 902,220 (EUR 202,000) last year, estimating a profit of RON 70,000 (EUR 15,715) for this year.
The center acquired this year a fully equipped following a EUR 20,000 investment, for patients requesting emergency medical assistance.
MD Dumitru Savoiu, Biomedica’s founder, said: “The Biomedica Medical Center has developed from an internal medicine cabinet and an analysis laboratory that served people in the Dambovita, Prahova and Arges Counties, into a medical clinic that is appreciated and respected by our patients.”
Biomedica said that the medical services in high demand are workplace healthcare and laboratory analysis.
The healthcare provider has 50,000 patients annually, employing 13 people and 17 collaborator MDs from Bucharest, Pitesti and Dambovita County.
