BearingPoint opens third office in Romania

Management and technology consulting firm BearingPoint continues its expansion on the European and local market by opening its third office in Romania, located in Timisoara, company representatives announced. The team in Timisoara will focus mainly on customer needs in the financial industry, supporting banks, insurance companies and supervisors throughout the regulated reporting process.

“Coming to the market in Romania 9 years ago has proven very successful for us, we have developed a strong brand and we are a wanted employer. In Timisoara we are looking for the most talented consultants for our international and local projects of governed reporting framework,” said Christian Gurny, country leader for BearingPoint Romania.

BearingPoint Romania has increased the number of employees by 40 percent in the last three years from year to year. Over 250 consultants are currently working in offices in Bucharest, Sibiu and Timisoara and the planned increase for next year is of another 40 percent.

Bearing Point employs 9,200, serving clients in 70 countries globally.
