BCR appoints new chief economist, research director

Banca Comerciala Romana (BCR), owned by Austria’s Erste Bank, announced Radu Craciun will take over the role of research director and chief economist of the lender starting February 2014.

Craciun has worked for over 16 years for financial institutions and consultancies. He previously served as deputy director at EUREKO Pensions.

He has also worked for Roland Berger Strategy Consultants and headed the research department at ABN AMRO Bank.
