The supervisory board of Banca Comerciala Romana (BCR), controlled by Austria’s Erste Bank, has passed several changes in the structure of the lender’s executive committee to be enforced this March, pending approval of the central bank.

Adriana Jankovicova, currently head of group performance management at Erste Group, will be new chief financial officer of BCR. She has joined Erste Group in 2002 and later became head of Erste Group Assets & Liabilities Management, in charge of controlling function for the group.

Bernd Mittermair, currently CFO at BCR, has been assigned as head of the Remedial, Restructuring and Recovery business line of the lender.

“BCR shall further build upon Mr. Mittermair skills and business exposure to achieve significant asset quality improvement,” said the lender in a statement.
