Bancpost: 5 million Romanians have a good credit history

Bancpost announced it had received over 50,000 applications for its customized interest consumer credit in the first six months since the launch of the product. Called ‘Name Surname’ (Creditul Nume Prenume), the credit targets clients with a good credit record. According to Bancpost estimates, around 5 million Romanians have a good credit history.

“Easy access to consumer credit for clients with a good credit history is a priority these days,” explained George Georgakopoulos, Executive VP Bancpost (pictured). The bank says it developed this product in response to the more cautious attitude of customers towards managing their own finances. The credit can be approved within 15 minutes, and clients can access through it funds in between EUR 500 and 10,000 at an interest rate customized according to their needs and credit history.
