Case de Epoca (Historic Houses) is hosting this weekend two architectural tours of Bucharest.
On Saturday, February 2nd, those interested can tour historical churches in Bucharest’s Universitate – Unirii area. The three-hour tour, which starts at 11.000 am, will include the following churches: Stavropoleos, Postei, Gabroveni, Rusa, Coltei, Sf. Gheorghe Nou, Sf. Gheorghe Vechi, Baratia, Curtea Veche, Balasa, Patriarhiei, Sf. Spiridon Nou and Ciobanul Bucur. Participants will have the opportunity of finding more about the architecture of the visited sites, and the design that influenced the evolution and identity of the surrounding landscape.
On Sunday, February 3rd, Piata Victoriei is under the spotlight in a new tour, which starts at 11.30. The area, which is remarkably rich and varied architecturally, will be toured to discover a representative part of Bucharest’s architectural heritage.
