Meteorologists issued a new yellow code warning for heavy rains available for 25 counties all over the country. The warning is available from Wednesday, 12 pm, until Thursday, 6 pm.
The National Weather Administration (ANM) warns that during this time weather instability will be high and it will affect most of the countries, causing rains, electrical discharge, high-speed winds and hail. In southern and south-western regions rainfall will reach levels of 25-30 l/sq m and in isolated areas even double that amount.
Counties under the yellow code: Mehedinţi, Gorj, Dolj, Olt, Vâlcea, Argeş, Teleorman, Giurgiu, Ilfov, Bucharest, Dâmboviţa, Prahova and Buzău.
Caraş-Severin, Hunedoara, Timiş, Sibiu, Alba, Arad, Cluj, Bihor, Sălaj and Maramureş are also under warning.
