Amazon recruits for Iasi development center

Currently, there is a list of 20 open positions available on the website of the Amazon Development Center in Iasi, which includes imaging associates, software development interns, managers, catalog associates, imaging support associates and system engineers.

According to the website of the Ministry of Finances, the Amazon Development Center in Iasi had last year 172 employees. The center posted a net turnover of RON 24,998,862 (around USD 7.7 million) and a profit of RON 2,638,841 (around USD 811,464).

On the list of benefits posted on the company’s website, Amazon provides a range of benefits for global employees and their eligible family members which include health care, savings plans, income protection, paid time off and employee stock, depending on the case.

Opened in Iasi, since 2005, the Amazon Development Center in Romania works on developing web site features to help Amazon’s customers find and discover anything they want to buy online, along with building tools and technologies that enable Amazon Retail and other Amazon web sites to merchandise effectively across multiple channels.
