Alexandru Munteanu leaves Cosmote for Samsung Romania

Alexandru Munteanu, one of the most well-known sales managers on the local telecom market, has left his position at Cosmote to take over the job of Head of Telecom Division at Samsung’s local branch. Sorin Manea will take over the job of Business Division Director within the same branch.

Alexandru Munteanu has 15 year sales experience and over 10 years in management of sales.

“I am very happy to be in charge of the Telecom division at Samsung and, at the same time, to join a powerful team with remarkable results on the Romanian market. I am certain that we will continue to insure the brand competitiveness together”, says Munteanu.

Sorin Manea, whol will lead the business division at Samsung, estimates his department has enormous potential for growth:

“In the five years I have coordinated this telecom division at Samsung Electronic Romania, the local smartphone market enjoyed an impressive dynamic, just like the Samsung business. I have complete confidence in Alexandru Munteanu to obtain results, along with his team. We’ve accepted a new challenge in the company, to join a new business line that is incredibly important in the overall strategy of the company: Enterprise”, according to Manea.
