Transgaz puts EUR 10.2 mln into Nabucco gas pipeline project

Romanian gas transmission company Transgaz will contribute EUR 10.2million, on H1, to the consolidated budget of Nabucco Gas Pipeline International, said the company in a statement issued to the Bucharest Stock Exchange last week. This contribution represents the 16.6 percent stake that Transgaz has in Nabucco.

Nabucco is the European project of the South East European Gas Corridor and offers an export route for gas from the Caspian and Middle-East regions.

The Nabucco shareholders are Bulgarian Energy Holding (Bulgaria), Botas (Turkey), FGSZ1 (Hungary), OMV (Austria), RWE (Germany), Transgaz (Romania).
