Nuclearelectrica (SNN) reported a net profit of RON 290.6 million in the first six months of this year, an increase of 59.4 percent compared to the same period of last year, according to financial data reported to the Bucharest Stock Exchange.

“Operating profit (EBIT) increased by 69.2 percent and EBITDA increased by 31.1 percent compared to the same period of the previous year, mainly as a result of the 20.1 percent increase of the operating revenues, influenced by the 22 percent increase of revenues from the sale of electricity,” the company’s representatives said.
