Hungarian Oil and Gas Company MOL announced its results for the first semester of 2011. The HUF 350 billion EBIDTA and HUF 208 billion operating profit are 20 percent and 50 percent higher, respectively compared to H1 2010.
In Romania, fuel sales volumes slightly increased by 2 percent in H1 2011 as compared to the similar period of 2010. Fuel card sales volumes started to recover in 2011, increasing by 2 percent in H1 2011 versus H1 2010.
MOL’s market share reached almost 12 percent at the end of H1 2011, according to the Romanian Oil Association (ARP). The shop sales revenue went up 10.2 percent (RON terms) in H1 2010 versus the similar period of 2010.
MOL Romania operated a network of 127 filling stations at the end of H1 2011.
