Filasa International, a French company, will invest EUR 780 million in 11 wind-parks that will be developed in Romania, according to Bloomberg, that quotes an e-mail statement from company representatives.
The French company has already invested EUR 6.2 for development works of the wind farms that will have a total installed capacity of 512 MW and will be located in the north-eastern part of Suceava County. The project is expected to be finalized in the next two years.
“We have chosen to invest in wind-parks in Romania because we are convinced of the country’s potential in renewable energy,” stated Bernard Esquirol, CEO Filasa.
