“We continue to expand our electric mobility infrastructure in the context of a growing need from the drivers of electric and hybrid vehicles to have such charging points in the vicinity of the residences or places they go to regularly. Partnerships with many retailers, such as the one recently concluded with PENNY, generate immediate benefits for those who have opted for electric mobility. At the same time, through such projects, Enel X Way Romania accelerates the transition to green mobility, with zero emissions, and to electrified transportation”, said Andrei Mihalciu, Manager Enel X Way Romania.

“At PENNY we are adepts of sustainable development, and the optimal infrastructure to load electric vehicles is one of the facilities recently offered to ensure that our stores are even more prepared for the future. We are glad to be able to offer this service to our clients together with our partner Enel X Way Romania. It is important for us to react as promptly as we can to the needs of our customers and to offer them quality products at advantageous prices, as well as services that suit with their preferences and lifestyle”, said Claudia Ivan, Sustainability Manager PENNY Romania.

The Waypump solution, with an available power of up to 60 kW, allows charging up to 80% of the battery level in about 25 minutes, depending on the model and specifications of the car. Waypole units have an available power output of 2 x 22 kW AC, each allowing up to 40% of the battery level to be charged in 30 minutes, depending on the model and specifications of the car.  Enel X Way Romania also has in its portfolio ultra-fast charging stations, with a maximum power of 150 kW and which allow charging up to 80% of the battery level in about 15 minutes.

Enel X Way Romania also covers charging needs for electric mobility at home or in the office, offering charging stations, installation services and software applications through which customers can monitor and control their own charging devices.

Users can charge their vehicles at Enel X Way Romania charging points using the Enel X Way mobile app about which more details are available here. The app can be downloaded from Google Play or the App Store.

Drivers can check the locations and availability of Enel X Way charging points  on an interactive map either in the Enel X Way app or on the website, here. They can see, in real time, whether a charging station is available, occupied or under maintenance, as well as whether it is a fast or ultra-fast one, the type of charging cable, the power, accessibility and the distance to it.  For customization, electric vehicle users will be able to associate one or more car models and, based on the information entered, they will receive real-time data on the duration and need for charging or the remaining range.

Enel X Way installs charging infrastructure in Romania in shopping centers, supermarkets, restaurants, and hotels that want to attract users of electric cars, as well as in the public spaces provided by municipalities interested in improving air quality by encouraging electric mobility.
