Accor Career Talks has been launched in Bucharest, in partnership with the Romanian-American University

World leading hospitality group Accor announces the recent launch of Accor Career Talks in Bucharest, a series of events designed to provide mentorship, career coaching, and skill development for the future leaders of the hospitality industry. The concept has been developed in partnership with Romanian-American University and is hosted within the permanent Accor Corner at the Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality Management. 

 

Accor Talent and Culture team recently unveiled the brand-new Accor Corner at the Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality Management from Romanian-American University.  The space, which has undergone a remarkable transformation, is meant to welcome students and become a hub of inspiration, learning, and collaboration. Designed with their growth and development in mind, the Accor Corner is a testament to our commitment to educate and nurture the future leaders of the hospitality industry.

The launching of the Accor Corner has been made in the presence of Felicia Dinca, Talent&Culture Manager Romania and SEE at Accor, Laurent PICHERAL, Former Accor Executive Committee member, Costel Negricea, Rector, Romanian-American University, Camelia Gheorghe, Dean School of Tourism and Hospitality Management at Romanian-American University and Patricia Dodu, Lecturer in Tourism, Hotel and Event Management. The event gathered students from the University and numerous Accor leaders and occasioned meaningful conversations about the future of tourism.

The space is far more than a physical hub. It will provide countless opportunities for mentorship, career coaching, and skill development, while symboling Accor’s dedication to empowering the next generation of hospitality professionals.

The group, which now employs more than 1000 people in the country, will add over 1000 new employees to its team by 2025, to support the opening and operation of more than 25 new hotels.
