New five-star hotel opens in Bucharest

Ion Antonescu, the owner of the Marshal Turism tour operator, has invested some EUR 5 million in five-star hotel in Bucharest. The money comes from own funds as well as credit.

The five-star Marshal Garden is located onDorobanti Road and has a capacity of 63 rooms. It also features two conference rooms and an Italian Restaurant. A spa and fitness will also be added in the futures and an open- air terrace will be built on the hotel’s roof.

A double room costs EUR 150 per night while the price for an apartment is EUR 180.

Ion Antonescu founded the Marshal Turism tour operator in 1992. The company owns and manages the Marshal Garden hotel but also considers taking up a franchise in the future.
