Dino Parc Râșnov surpasses 3 million visitors in 8 years of activity. Since the beginning of the year until now, about 142,000 visitors passionate about paleontology have come to Dino Parc Râșnov. Since its opening in June 2015 and until the present date, the largest dinosaur park in South-Eastern Europe has doubled in size, reaching 4 hectares and more than 120 scientifically certified dinosaurs reproduced in life-size.

At the same time, 2023 is also the first year in which Dino Parc Râșnov has signed a partnership with the School Inspectorate of the Municipality of Bucharest, through which all schoolchildren and pre-schoolers were able to visit the dinosaur park free of charge, as part of the excursions organized by the teachers for the “School Differently” and ”Green Week”. This partnership has expanded to include all schools in the country so that almost 50,000 pupils have been introduced to the 120 life-size dinosaurs in Râșnov, as well as more than 10 different species of trees and shrubs living in the forest that hosts the park.

We want Dino Parc Râșnov to become a long-term strategic partner in the education of new generations. With this goal in mind, we constantly provide teachers and families who visit us with their children with an entire prehistoric universe, built with care and passion, together with the greatest specialists in the field, according to the latest scientific discoveries. Dino Parc Râșnov is an open-air museum, where children can explore nature at their leisure and learn the most important facts about the appearance and evolution of life on our planet“, said Adrian Apostu, manager of Dino Parc Râșnov.

New investments are constantly being made at Dino Parc Râșnov, both from its own funds and through European funding. New developments this year include the development of an augmented reality app, the introduction of new activities for family time and the organization of more events and shows of interest for the whole family.

In recent years, Dino Parc Râșnov has become one of the most popular tourist locations, making it into the top 50 destinations for children and families in Europe, in the top 10 most visited places in Romania on Google Maps, and its most recent title is “Destination of the Year 2023” in the category Fun and Adventure Parks in Romania.

Between 1 and 5 of June 2023, on the occasion of the Children’s Day mini-holiday, young and old alike are expected at Dino Parc Rasnov for the Celebration of Childhood:

On 1 June, everyone will sing and dance with Alina Sorescu and her choir of talented children, Picii lu’ Soreasca.
On 2 and 4 June, visitors have the opportunity to take part in the Dino Hunt.
On 3 and 5 June, the Strada theater troupe will introduce visitors to Dino Parc’s fascinating world of dinosaurs with a special themed show.

The concerts and the fun will continue until the end of the summer, as everyone’s favourite children’s band, Gașca Zurli, will be at Dino Parc Rasnov twice this year, on 15 August and 26 August.
