Top Employers Career Fair offers 6,000 career opportunities from 130 employers

The Top Employers Career Fair will take place on April 5-6 at the Palace Hall and offer 6,000 career opportunities from 130 companies. Over 10,000 visitors are expected in the 2 days of the fair. The 130 employers’ stands are placed like tourist destinations where visitors can find information about over 6,000 jobs, and internship or trainee management programs they can apply to. In addition, event visitors can participate in dozens of skill training sessions and conferences.

IT enthusiasts have the opportunity to participate in a series of technical sessions – techtalks – on topics such as: Java, Emerging Technologies, Smart Everything or Testing; learn from the most interactive case studies on the local and international IT & C market; to interact with specialists in software development, AI, IOT, mobile applications, telecom, embedded software or cloud. Participation is free but places are limited.

This Top Employers Edition registers a record of the number of jobs open by participating companies. According to the information received from companies’ representatives there will be over 400 open jobs. In total, there will be over 6,000 career opportunities in highly varied areas, and the top 20 most open-ended companies include:

  4. Deloitte Audit Delivery Center;
  5. Accenture;
  6. Societe Generale European Business Services;
  7. BCR;
  8. Orange Romania;
  9. Automatic Data Processing (ADP);

  11. Hornbach;
  12. Stefanini Romania;
  13. Kellogg Romania;
  14. Huawei Enterprise Romania GSC;
  15. Zentiva;
  16. P&G;
  17. Enel Romania;
  18. METRO Cash & Carry;
  19. dm drogerie markt;
  20. Adecco.

The top companies with the most career opportunities open is based on the responses to the questionnaire sent to the participating companies. From the experience of previous editions, there are companies with very large recruitment volumes who cannot make this information public.

Compared to previous years, this edition saw a balanced distribution of jobs open to companies. From the point of view of the fields of activity, the best represented areas where opportunities are open for both professionals and entry-level candidates for graduates and students are:

  1. IT Software: 55 percent;
  2. Accounting – Finance: 53 percent;
  3. Sales: 43 percent;
  4. Customer Support: 40 percent;
  5. Purchases – Logistics – Supply: 30 percent
  6. Engineering: 25 percent;
  7. Human Resources: 23 percent;
  8. Marketing PR – Communication: 20 percent;
  9. Law: 18 percent;
  10. IT Hardware: 18 percent.

In terms of the salary offered, the type of job, the level of experience, the industry in which the employer works, are some of the aspects that can influence the remuneration offered. For internship programs, most employers offer salaries ranging from EUR 300-400, and for entry-level positions, most companies offer salaries in the range of EUR 400-500. In terms of jobs for mid-level specialists, companies offer salaries in the range of EUR 700-1,000, and for positions dedicated to senior candidates, wages vary around EUR 1,500 and may amount to more than EUR 2,000.
