The Romanian Dubai Business Council (RDBC), a non-profit organization, was formed by a group of 20 companies led by Romanian entrepreneurs. RDBC aims to create a vibrant community that supports Romanian companies doing business in Romania and Dubai in their transition from traditional business models to the innovative and technology-based 4.0 economy.
The establishment of the RDBC aligns with the strategic plans of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce to establish new country-specific business councils and enhance their roles in stimulating Dubai’s foreign trade and promoting cross-border business opportunities for member companies.
RDBC will serve as a platform for networking, idea exchange, and business cooperation, enabling them to navigate efficiently in the ever-changing new business model. By providing guidance, resources, and collaboration opportunities, RDBC aims to create an environment that fosters innovation, entrepreneurship, and long-term success.
The launch event, held at the prestigious Dubai Chamber of Commerce, was honored by the presence of His Excellency Mr. Octavian BĂDICA, the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Romania to the United Arab Emirates, Her Excellency Ms. Nicoleta TEODOROVICI, the Consul General of Romania in Dubai, as well as the founding members of the Romanian Dubai Business Council and several distinguished representatives of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce, including THX.
