The average service pension for prosecutors and judges is over EUR 3,000

The number of recipients of service pensions, at the end of July 2018, was 9,087, most of them (3,520) under Law 303/2004 on the status of prosecutors and judges. The average pension for prosecutors and judges was RON 14,323 (EUR 3,086), of which RON 13,073 was the share paid from the state budget, and the difference from the social insurance budget, according to data centralized by the National House of Public Pensions (CNPP).

Law no. 216/2015 regarding the granting of the service pensions to the members of the Romanian Consular and Diplomatic Corps benefited 870 persons. The average pension was RON 5,482, of which RON 3,328 came from the state budget.

Regarding the beneficiaries of Law 215/2015 for amending and completing the Law 7/2006 for the status of the parliamentary civil servant, their number was 813 persons with the average pension amounting to RON 3,938 (RON 2,379 from the state budget).

According to the cited source, Law 83/2015 for completing Law 223/2007 on the status of civil aviation civil aviation personnel in Romanian civil aviation benefited from 1,463 retirees and the average pension amounted to RON 10,738, out of which RON 7,563 were borne from the budget state.

The service pensions for the beneficiaries of the Court of Accounts were granted to 606 persons, the average pension being RON 7,621, out of which RON 4,210 the share supported from the state budget.

Also, Law No. 130/2015 for completing Law 567/2004 on the status of auxiliary specialized staff of courts and prosecutors’ offices benefited 1,815 pensioners, the average pension being RON 3,867, and RON 2,194 from the state budget).
