TERRA Romania aims for a 15% increase in business in 2021

TERRA Romania, part of the Austrian group TERRA Holding, one of the most important distributors on the market of construction and industrial equipment, has budgeted sales of 42 million euros for 2021, increasing by 15% compared to the previous year. The growth of the business is based upon the integration in their portfolio of a new partner – DYNAPAC (manufacturer of asphalt compactors and distributors), the launch of new backhoe loader models of the strategic partner JCB (world leader in this segment of machinery), as well as the solutions offered in construction-related fields, such as waste recycling, forestry, industrial applications and port logistics or municipal applications.

The growth vectors for 2021 were thoroughly analyzed and prepared in 2020, which was a time of reflection, analysis and reinvention of internal mechanisms to meet the new challenges posed by the pandemic period.

„This year we celebrate 20 years of presence on the Romanian market, we have cumulative investments of over 15 million euros in 4 regional offices (Bucharest, Brașov, Turda, Timișoara) and constant annual increases. 2020 was a time of consolidation for us. The entire team of 135 people gatherred and mobilized and all together looked for solutions to recovery, consolide and grow. All the companies have been hard tried in one way or another this year and we all have faced various challenges, on the edge of the health crisis and the pandemic. I believe that we have balanced the business to a level that allows a rigorous growth for 2021 and I am very optimistic that we will be able to return to the level before the pandemic year.
