Betano, leading European operator of the sports betting and online casino industry, part of Kaizen Gaming, and the Romanian Sports Motoring Federation (FRAS) are expanding their partnership for the Romanian Rally Championship. The 2023 edition of the most important motor sports competition in Romania will be called BETANO Romanian Rally Championship (CNBR).

The partnership with FRAS began in 2020, marking the brand’s first motorsports sponsorship initiative, in line with the company’s strategy to support sports and performance athletes in all countries in which it operates.

“We are honored to continue, for the fourth year now, the partnership with FRAS, for one of the most spectacular sports events of this kind. We look forward with confidence to the new competitive season and we are convinced that, together with the Federation, we can continue our commitement to remain actively involved in the performance of Romanian sports and, also, involved in the experience lived by its fans”, stated Dragoș Mîndreci, Country Manager BETANO Romania.

“The continuity of the partnership with Betano Romania demonstrates the good trend established in recent years by the Federation, both in terms of image and public interest in our competitions. I can’t help but remember at this moment one of the first projects we did together, the Digital Motorsport Championship, in 2020, during the pandemic, when few people still supported the sport. Therefore, I thank our partners for the courage they had in the beginning and also for their current trust in us!”, stated Norris Măgeanu, President of the Romanian Sports Motoring Federation.

The 2023 edition of the BETANO National Rally Championship will have 8 stages, from May 6th to October 29th:

  • Harghita Rally – May 6-7
  • The Argeș Rally – May 27-28
  • Maramureș Rally – June 24-25
  • Sibiu Rally – July 14-15
  • Rally of Moldova – August 4-5
  • Iași Rally – September 9-10
  • Cluj Rally – September 30 – October 1
  • Brașov Rally – October 28-29

As a sign of support for this year’s edition and for the utmost motorsports experience, Betano will offer a bonus to the promoter of each stage of the competition.

The partnership with FRAS for the BETANO Romanian Rally Championship is part of the extensive portfolio of sports sponsorships that Betano has in Romania, Greece, Cyprus, Germany, and Portugal, but also at a regional level, by sponsoring renowned global competitions.
