With anticipation building for almost 12 months and a monumental amount of work undertaken behind the scenes, Aston Martin is back in Formula One. The new era has officially begun.

The team will be known as Aston Martin Cognizant Formula One™ Team when it lines up on the starting grid for the new season.

In a sport where technology and innovation take center stage, Cognizant will play a key role, not merely as a sponsor, nor even as a behind-the-scenes service provider, but also as a true digital transformation partner with a real purpose. The multiyear association brings real energy to the new era of Aston Martin in Formula One, with Cognizant ideally placed to empower the team with the best IT infrastructure and software solutions on the market.

Cognizant is also present in Romania, through Cognizant Softvision. The acquisition of Softvision by Cognizant, in 2018, created one of the most powerful companies in the world in the field of digital development and a leader in software development. Cognizant Softvision develops complete digital solutions and products that connect the world’s major brands with end consumers. Cognizant Softvision collaborates with some of the largest brands in the world, offering sustainable innovation, agility and connection that inspires commitment and business transformation. Cognizant Softvision has a team of over 3,000 professionals in the field of software development: product, design and engineering and a network of global studios in nine countries on five continents. In Romania, Cognizant Softvision is currently one of the largest technology employers in Romania. At the end of 2020 it reached 2,000 employees in studios in Bucharest, Cluj-Napoca, Iasi, Timisoara and Baia Mare. Also at the end of 2020 Cognizant Softvision received an award for “The largest IT employer in the pandemic” at the ZF Gala. More information at:
