The American Chamber of Commerce has announced a new board of directors.
According to the votes expressed by member companies, Sorin Mindrutescu, CEO Oracle Romania is the new AmCham president. He has been CEO of Oracle Romania since February 2008 and has previously been president of AmCham in 2009 and 2010.
Cristian Colteanu, General Electric’s president and CEO for Romania, Bulgaria and Moldova as well as Bogdan Balaci, country general manager of IBM Romania, were appointed vice-presidents.
The other members of the AmCham board are Tibor Pandi, Citibank country officer for Romania, Linda Griffin, GM of Athenee Palace Hilton, Violeta Ciurel, president and CEO AXA Asigurari, Bogdan Ion, country managing partner Ernst & Young Romania, Ronald Binkofski, general manager of Microsoft Romania, Mihaela Mitroi, partner at PwC Romania, James Daniel Stewart, vice-president Raiffeisen Bank and Anda Todor, managing partner at Salans.
