Selgros Cash & Carry will reopen its store in Bacau this week after investing EUR 1 million in refurbishing and redesigning the outlet. Eight other Selgros Cash & Carry units have undergone the same process so far, and by 2013, the retailer plans to refurbish all of its remaining 10 stores by the end of 2013.
According to the most recent data, the retailer reported a turnover of RON 3.2 billion in 2010 (approximately EUR 760 million). Selgros Cash & Carry is part of Transgourmet Group which runs cash & carry and food-service activities in Switzerland, Germany, France, Poland, Romania and Russia.
