HORNBACH opens its ninth store in Constanta

HORNBACH, one of the leading players in the European market for building and gardening materials, is expanding its national network with a new store in Constanta.

Located at 158 Aurel Vlaicu Boulevard, the HORNBACH Group’s ninth store in Romania has a total sales area of 20,000 sqm, including the 5,000 sqm Garden department and the 6,600 sqm Drive In, where customers have direct access to the shelves by car.

The investment in the Constanta store was over 32 million euros, bringing the company’s total investment in Romania to 234.2 million euros, in the 15 years of presence on the Romanian market.

“The decision to expand the national HORNBACH network with a store in Constanta was determined by the fact that this city has a positive economic development and a constant development potential. Constanta is a city with more than 300,000 inhabitants, to whom HORNBACH offers a wide range of products that meet German quality standards, at an excellent quality-price ratio. In addition, our stores meet the needs of customers with a range of services such as fitting, wood cutting, curtain making, picture framing and paint mixing”, said Mugurel-Horia Rusu, General Manager HORNBACH Romania.

The HORNBACH shop in Constanta provides customers with a wide range of products for construction and interior and exterior design. The main product categories found in the store are: building materials, prefabricated and flooring, electro and lighting fixtures, hardware, tools, bathroom and kitchen products, ceramic tiles, paints, curtains and carpets. In the Garden and Zoo area, customers will also find products for pets and aquariums, as well as garden and leisure products: indoor and outdoor plants, substrate and fertilizers, pots, fences, garden furniture and grills.

In our online shop, customers can find over 75,000 products, most of which are also available via our ‘Book and collect in store’ service. Products can be picked up from your preferred HORNBACH store within just two hours of confirming your reservation or other customised deadline.

The store’s 110 employees will provide expert advice and design solutions tailored to each customer’s needs and budget.

The HORNBACH store in Constanta is located on bd. Aurel Vlaicu no. 158 and will be open to the public from 28 September.

Opening hours are Monday to Saturday from 08.00 to 21.00 and Sunday from 08.00 to 19.00.

As for the Drive In area, it will be open Monday to Saturday from 07.00 to 21.00, and Sunday from 08.00 to 19.00.
