eMAG Launches Dermato Shop, a New Online Shop-in-Shop Concept

eMAG is simplifying the way customers can find and order products for their entire family’s skincare routine and is launching the first shop-in-shop dedicated to dermato-cosmetic products.

 

Under the umbrella of eMAG Dermato Shop, customers can easily discover a range of over 3,000 products for the whole family from top international and local companies in the cosmetic and beauty industry, such as L’Oreal, bringing brands like Vichy, La Roche Posay, and Cerave, Pierre Fabre, with brands like Avene, Ducray, Klorane, and A-Derma, or Naos Skin Care with Bioderma and Institut Esthederm, as well as Romanian companies like Ivatherm.

“Consumers are increasingly concerned about health and personal care and have become more informed about the characteristics of quality dermato-cosmetic products. We have noticed a rise in interest in products that lie at the intersection of beauty and health, products that can be used by the entire family. With eMAG Dermato Shop, our goal is to simplify people’s shopping experience and help them quickly find an entire universe of products for all their needs in one place. We have made the search process easier while expanding the offer to over 3,000 products with the contribution of top industry brands and the support of our partners in the Marketplace,” stated Stejara Pircan, Senior VP eMAG Romania.

Over a million Romanians annually purchase cosmetic products from eMAG, with 30% returning each month. The launch of the new shopping space comes as a response to the growing interest of consumers in multifunctional products suitable for the entire family.

Additionally, according to market research firm Cegedim, in the first half of this year, the dermato-cosmetic product market has grown by over 32% in terms of sales and 20% in terms of volumes.

“According to our studies, 35% of consumers purchase beauty and personal care products online. Hence, it is important to offer them an online experience that closely resembles the environment in which they usually find Pierre Fabre products.
