Catinvest introduces Bebe Tei and Farmacia Tei in Craiova, bolstering ElectroPutere Mall’s lead in Oltenia

French real estate group Catinvest enhances its retail mix and brings the Bebe Tei and Farmacia Tei brands to Craiova for the first time, now offering access to over 200 top brands in retail, fashion, food, and entertainment.

 

Bebe Tei and Farmacia Tei are opening this summer in ElectroPutere Mall, the locations will be covering an area of approximately 2,400 square metres and will be selling over 60,000 products from all categories of interest, from derma-cosmetics and cosmetics, mother and baby care, childcare, healthy food, toys, prescription and over-the-counter medicines to veterinary products.

”We plan to have three openings every year in the country and we are glad that starting from this summer, we will be present with our concept in Craiova, in ElectroPutere Mall. It is an important opening in our expansion strategy, and we are sure that Bebe Tei and Farmacia Tei presence will have a positive impact among the mall’s customers”, said Roxana Maftei, founder of Farmacia Tei.

Some of the well-known brands with exclusive presence in ElectroPutere Mall are Mango, Musette, Intimissimi, Intimissimi Uomo, Calzedonia, BSB, Intersport or C&A.

Since its acquisition in 2016, Catinvest has doubled the size of ElectroPutere Parc and continues to invest in its development and expansion. Thus, by the end of 2025, ElectroPutere Parc will have around 99,000 square meters dedicated to retail activity, 25,000 square metres will be dedicated to Class A offices, and the concrete step taken by Catinvest towards the coagulation of a genuine urban centre with mixed buildings is the future luxury apart-hotel with 60 apartments. The total investment budget exceeds 60 million euro over the next two years.

The French real estate group Catinvest also owns and manages several shopping centers in Romania – Carrefour Orhideea and Cora Pantelimon in Bucharest and Carrefour TOM in Constanta – as well as in Eastern Europe – Auchan Savoya Park in Budapest and Tesco Borska Pole in Plzen. Catinvest is also active in France in residential and shopping centers activities. In total, Catinvest owns and manages more than 525,000 square meters of space in France and Eastern Europe.
